Seminar 1 (recorded will be released to our youtube on Thursday) Thursday 8th October 12:30pm-1.00pm Health literacy and medicines – Pharmacist Tania Cork - Patients must be able to understand how to take or use their medicines correctly for them to have the full effect. Health literacy plays a big part in the ability for patients to adhere to medicines. This short presentation will give a small introduction of what health literacy is and how it can affect medicine taking in patients.

Seminar 2 Thursday 15th October 12:30pm-1.00pm - Digital health literacy and barriers to access – Blythe Robertson from NHS Education for Scotland (NES) Digital Services will share experiences on building digital services that are responsive to divers health literacy needs, particularly during the pandemic period

Seminar 3 Thursday 22nd October 12:30pm-1.00pm – Value of preparation of people prior to Long Term Condition reviews with remote consultations. General Practitioners - Dr Graham Kramer and Prof Gill Rowlands will discuss the health literacy considerations for reviews with people with long term conditions with regards to remote consultations

Seminar 4Thursday 29th October – 12:30pm-1.00pm – Children’s understanding of COVID19 and health literacy and schools – Prof Jo Protheroe will discuss findings from a recent research project on children’s understanding of COVID19 and Anne McCusker Belfast Healthy Cities will discuss a project embedding health literacy into schools in Northern Ireland
