29th June, 10.30-2.30pm, Keele University
Health Literacy UK and Stoke-on-Trent City Council Public Health invite you to join us for this seminar. The session will focus on Health Literacy Friendly Places.
"Health Literacy also includes a provider's capacity to communicate clearly, educate about health, and empower his or her patients, customers or service users."
The seminar will include the presentation of research, policy discussions, and case studies of health literacy-friendly places, particularly Stoke-on-Trent.
There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and sharing of good practice.
Anyone with an interest in promoting health literacy-friendly places.
Health practitioners, educator, researchers and those involved in health polity development are particularly encouraged to take part.
